Tech Thursday's Story
Tech Thursday started as a way to bring the Winnipeg Tech ecosystem coming out of the pandemic. It started slow – 5 or 10 people would come out to the events every week. Soon, 80 - 100+ people would come out every week. A few months later, Tech Thursday launched in Calgary and had a similar story. Now, we host weekly events in Edmonton and Ottawa, with more to come shortly.
Our goal is to not only build strong tech communities in the cities we operate in, but to break down the barriers between traditionally insular tech communities.
